Early Childcare Assistant – If you’re interested in working in childcare, this eight-month program offers training in child development, program planning, communication skills, health and safety. Study toddler development, role playing, observation approaches, encouraging children, dramatic play, plan development, child abuse, nutrition, CPR, first aid and much more. If you enjoy working with children and getting their life off to a good start, this program could be your first step to a long and rewarding career.
Dental – The comprehensive and intensive curriculum in these programs will equip you with the skills to prepare clients for examinations and treatments, perform radiological procedures, and prepare dental materials and equipment. As a graduate, you will be eligible to write the certification exam through the ODAA and upon passing, will attain the designation of certified dental assistant (CDA).
Health, Fitness and Nutrition Consultant – Are you seeking a career in the health and fitness industry? In this program, you’ll learn to plan, market, and deliver safe and effective fitness, wellness and healthy lifestyle programs. Massage Therapy – More and more people are enjoying massage for its wellness and therapeutic benefits. If this sounds like a career you’d enjoy, you can acquire the basic knowledge, skills, ethics and behaviours you need to successfully practice massage therapy in a variety of therapeutic care settings. Upon graduation, you’ll be prepared to take the Registration Examinations of the Massage Therapy Association.
